U.S. Air Force graphic encourages military members to participate or attend a pistol competition in honor of Presidents Day at Misawa Air Base, Japan, Jan. 16, 2026. The top 10% of competitors will earn a pistol Excellence in Competition badge to wear on their service dress, strengthening marksmanship, discipline and esprit de corps while reinforcing the 35th Fighter Wing’s commitment to readiness and a culture of excellence.
