Soldiers, veterans, families and community members participate in Week of the Eagles events at Fort Campbell, Kentucky, May 15-21, 2026, celebrating the heritage and legacy of the 101st Airborne Division (Air Assault), known as the “Screaming Eagles.” Week of the Eagles is an annual commemorative event honoring the division’s history, traditions and service through ceremonies, memorials, competitions, demonstrations, reunions and community activities. Established in the 1970s to strengthen esprit de corps and recognize the division’s lineage dating back to World War II, the event brings together past and present members of the division to honor the sacrifices and accomplishments of Screaming Eagle Soldiers.
