Logo created for the newly established working group of artists, tech editors and production specialists located at the National Air and Space Intelligence Center, WPAFB, OH. The image was designed with a minimalist approach in describing the workgroup’s mission and the visual products. First is the color selection of royal blue and gold which is a reference back to the colors of the NASIC shield and the “gold standard” of intelligence. Second, the “C” portion of the design, which refers to the “C” in central and the all-encompassing nature of the intelligence that is collected from around the globe, researched, reported upon and released forward into the Intelligence Community. Finally, the cross-section of the globe (latitude and longitude lines) and space portions of the “C” (satellite and orbit), which represents the multiple domains of analytical interest currently being reported upon within the organization.
