U.S. Army paratroopers assigned to the 173rd Airborne Brigade will participate in preliminary tryouts for the 173rd Airborne Brigade’s “Best of Series” competition at Caserma Del Din, Vicenza, Italy, Nov. 24, 2025. The annual event identifies top performers across multiple career fields—including Rangers, Sappers, mortarmen, snipers, medics, and combatives athletes who will represent their battalions in the brigade-level competition. Soldiers interested in competing must coordinate with their battalion operations office before Nov. 21, 2025.
