U.S. Marine Corps Cpl. Jacob Dobromirescu, rifleman with the United States Marine Corps Silent Drill Platoon, Alpha Company, Marine Barracks Washington, thanks Vietnam veterans following an honor flight ceremony at the Lincoln Memorial in Washington, D.C., Sept. 16, 2025. The ceremony brought together veterans from all military branches to be recognized for their service and sacrifice during the Vietnam War. Marines of the Silent Drill Platoon highlighted the Corps’ tradition of honoring past generations while exemplifying precision and discipline in ceremonial duties.
