August is Weight Handling Safety Awareness Month. The Navy’s weight handling program plays a critical role in supporting the warfighting mission, performing high-risk tasks safely and efficiently. This vertical graphic created with Adobe Illustrator is the second in a series of three weekly graphics by Naval Safety Command for Naval Facilities Engineering Systems Command (NAVFAC). The intent of the graphics is to spread awareness of weight handling safety during the month of August. This graphic focuses on the theme of near-miss data and the vital role it plays in weight handling safety.
