August is Weight Handling Safety Awareness Month. The Navy’s weight handling program plays a critical role in supporting the warfighting mission, performing high-risk tasks safely and efficiently. This graphic, created with Adobe Illustrator, is second in a series of three weekly graphics by Naval Safety Command for Naval Facilities Engineering Systems Command (NAVFAC). The intent of the graphics is to spread awareness of weight handling safety during August. This graphic focuses on the theme of lower threshold crane accidents and the importance of weight handling safety.
