Turkey frying during the holidays can be an enjoyable and tasty activity, but it does come with some hazards. Steps like keeping your fryer at least 10 feet away from your home, using flat ground, ensuring the turkey is completely thawed and dry before frying, monitoring the process at all times, and having a multipurpose or dry powder extinguisher nearby can keep yourself and friends and family safe.
