On 8 Nov 23, Goodfellow Air Force Base had their annual Christmas Market allowing the community to come onto the base. Because of the nature of the operation to clear cars and people, the regular gate closed for the day. This announcement was a clever way to let the population know of the closure so they could make their plans accordingly.
