On this momentous occasion, we proudly commemorate the 75th anniversary of the United Nations Command. Established in 1950, UNC demonstrated unprecedented global solidarity, with 22 nations giving their blood and treasure to secure freedom for millions and to enable the Republic of Korea’s remarkable transformation. UNC remains a living symbol of international resolve to defend peace through collective action. Today, the world has changed, and the Korean Peninsula faces significant challenges. UNC has adapted, steadfast in its unique mandate under international law. With 18 member states contributing, UNC provides deterrence through strength and dialogue through engagement. This 75th anniversary is not merely a commemoration of the past; it's a recommitment to securing our collective future. It calls for continued vigilance, adaptability, and unwavering international cooperation to defend peace for today, tomorrow, and generations to come. Thank you.
