This Medal of Honor Day, the Office of Enterprise Management (OEM) pays tribute to these heroes and reflects on the values they embody—courage, patriotism, and sacrifice. Established during the Civil War and first awarded on 25 March 1863 to Private Jacob Parrott and the Andrew Raiders, the Medal of Honor remains a powerful symbol of service and devotion to our nation.
