In 2003 the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers issued a bicentennial commemorative map book to assist visitors with their travels throughout the Lower Missouri River. Whether traveling by car aling the Lewis and Clark National Historic Trail by bike along the beautiful Katy Trail State Park or by boat on the Missouri River the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers developed this publication to invite visitors to experience some of the same feelings of discovery that Lewis and Clark experienced from 1804 to 1806.
