This infographic is meant to show the real cost of fatal motorcycle (PMV-2) crashes across the naval enterprise. The represented data is a compilation of Navy and Marine Corps services' fatality totals as of 31 September 2025. The data represented does not include crashes caused by criminal activity. The infographic was created in Adobe Illustrator and supports the 2025 Naval Safety Command Motorcycle Safety campaign. The campaign theme "Ride Right, Stay in the Fight" is meant to promote the safety and well-being of Sailors and Marines through effective risk management, training and identifying the most at-risk riders. The Naval Safety Command enhances the naval enterprise's ability to identify, communicate and account for risk through assessments, investigations and enterprise-wide policy development and implementation. Additional information and resources from the campaign can be found at https://navalsafetycommand.navy.mil/Off-Duty/Motorcycle-Safety/. (Graphic by Leslie Tomaino)
