BAGHDAD, Iraq -- A convoy enters Baghdad April 26, 2003, at the end of its journey “jumping” the corps main command post from Camp Virginia, Kuwait to Camp Victory on the outskirts of Baghdad. The trip involved more than 400 military vehicles and traveled more than 300 miles through combat, insurgent attacks and sandstorms to establish a new command post that resumed control of Army forces in the Iraqi theater of operations.
