Educational & Developmental Intervention Services (EDIS) supports eligible children from birth to age 3 across many areas of early development.
That can include:
Communication — helping children express themselves and understand others.
Learning — building thinking, problem-solving and early learning skills.
Movement — supporting gross and fine motor development.
Independence — developing skills for everyday activities.
Relationships — supporting social and emotional development.
EDIS works with Families to identify their child’s strengths and needs and build skills through everyday routines, play and interactions.
There are two ways to get your child started with EDIS:
Call 270-798-8997. The EDIS team will begin the process the day you call.
Talk with your child’s primary care provider. Your provider can submit a referral to EDIS, and the team will contact you as soon as the referral is received.
