250226-N-SS900-1001 NAVAL BASE POINT LOMA (Feb. 26, 2025) A logo created to represent the Emergency Control Center (ECC) Team based in San Diego. The color scheme is inspired by the Carrier Strike Group (CSG) 1 and Commander, Submarine Squadron (CSS) 11 logos. The aircraft carrier and submarine, drawn from the CSG-1 logo, symbolize the team's responsibility for ensuring the safety of U.S. Navy vessels, while the two stars represent the nuclear-powered submarines and aircraft carriers the ECC supports. The San Diego skyline signifies the ECC’s role in maintaining communication with the public, while the Coronado Bridge, spanning the outer edge of the design, connects to the center—symbolizing the partnership between the people of San Diego and the military in ensuring safety and security during emergencies.
