The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Tulsa District began repairing the top layer of soil on the downstream side of Pat Mayse Dam in Paris, Texas, July 30, 2025. The repairs will take one to two weeks depending upon weather and other factors. The repairs should not affect traffic over the dam but the Pat Mayse Lake Office asks drivers to use caution as workers may be present. The work will not affect the dam's flood control mission or Pat Mayse Lake operations.
