From 1891 to 2026 and beyond— delivering the foundation of fleet readiness starts NOW.
Through the Shipyard Infrastructure Optimization Program (SIOP), we are undertaking a comprehensive, long-term effort to reconfigure, optimize, and modernize Puget Sound Naval Shipyard & Intermediate Maintenance Facility.
This includes the proposed construction of a new Multi-Mission Dry Dock—a multi-phase, mega-project culminating in a fully pressure-relieved dry dock facility capable of accommodating shipyard repair services for the new Ford-class nuclear-powered aircraft carrier, current Nimitz-class aircraft carriers, and other surface and subsurface ships.
If you're interested in learning more about the project, how it can impact our local community, or how you can be a part of history, visit: multimissiondrydock.com.
