The first three years of a child’s life are a critical time for learning and development. Educational Developmental Intervention Services (EDIS) partners with eligible military Families to help young children grow, learn and reach their full potential.
EDIS provides early intervention services for eligible children from birth to age 3 who have a documented developmental delay or a diagnosed condition with a high probability of developmental delay.
Families don’t have to wait for someone else to notice a concern. Referrals can come from medical professionals or from Families themselves. If you’re concerned that your child may not be developing as expected, reaching out early can help connect your Family with the right support.
EDIS works alongside Families, building on everyday routines, relationships and natural learning opportunities to support positive outcomes for children and Families.
