FORT POLK, La. – The Department of Pharmacy at Bayne-Jones Army Community Hospital will temporarily close on Wednesday, April 8, at 2:00 p.m. to conduct administrative and inventory operations. The closure is essential for maintaining the highest standards of patient care and operational readiness.
The BJACH Pharmacy will resume normal hours, reopening at 8:00 a.m. on Thursday, April 9.
"This dedicated time for administrative tasks is crucial for ensuring the efficiency, accuracy, and safety of our pharmacy services," said LTC Rajinder Sumair, Chief of the BJACH Department of Pharmacy. "We encourage our patients to plan accordingly and retrieve any necessary prescriptions prior to the closure. We appreciate the community's patience and understanding."
All patients and beneficiaries are advised to plan for their prescription needs around this temporary closure.
