A U.S. Navy Sailor and Suicide Prevention Peer Advocate (SPPA) participates in a “Reduce Access to Lethal Means” poster campaign on Fort George G. Meade, MD., Feb. 26, 2026. The “Reduce Access to Lethal Means” campaign’s goal is to provide information and to support the goal of placing a barrier or gap between the individual and the lethal means and encourage Sailors in crisis to feel comfortable reaching out to SPPAs or other resiliency services for help and resources. The posters support the SPPA by showing the faces of the individuals that are there to help. (U.S Navy Graphic by Petty Officer 2nd Class Tyler Woodworth)
