The 402nd Army Field Support Brigade, headquartered at Fort Shafter, Hawaii, provides strategic logistics, sustainment and materiel readiness support across the U.S. Army Indo-Pacific area of responsibility, spanning from Alaska to the Indian Ocean. As a critical link between Army Materiel Command and forces on the ground, the brigade manages Army Prepositioned Stocks, munitions accountability and expeditionary contracting while supporting major exercises such as Operation Pathways. Through forward-deployed Logistics Support Elements and the Logistics Civil Augmentation Program, the 402nd AFSB integrates sustainment capabilities with allies and partners to ensure operational readiness throughout the region.
