    Vision Matters

Your eyes play an important role in your overall health, daily life and military readiness. Routine vision care can help identify changes early, while specialized care can diagnose and treat conditions that may affect your sight and quality of life.
    BACH Vision Services include:
    -Soldier Optometry Services
Soldiers receive optometry services through their Soldier Centered Medical Home. LaPointe Soldier Medical Home offers an Optometry Clinic focused on vision readiness.
    -Ophthalmology Clinic
Beneficiaries may be referred by their primary care manager for specialized care and treatment of conditions such as glaucoma, cataracts, strabismus, keratoconus and diabetes-related eye conditions.
    -Warfighter Refractive Eye Surgery Center
The WRESC provides LASIK and PRK services to eligible active-duty Soldiers stationed at Fort Campbell. Combat Arms Soldiers receive first priority.
    Why does vision care matter?
Regular eye care isn’t just about seeing clearly. Eye exams can help detect conditions early—sometimes before noticeable symptoms appear—and help Soldiers maintain the vision needed for mission readiness.
