KANSAS CITY, Mo. (June 24, 2021) Logo created to inform the public about Kansas City Navy Week which takes place June 28 – July 4, 2021. The graphic features a Kansas City skyline flanked by two namesake ships: USS Kansas City (LCS 22) on the left and USS Harry S. Truman (CVN 75) on the right. The U.S. Navy Flight Demonstration Squadron, the Blue Angels, are also featured flying above the skyline. The blue and gold color scheme uses the same color codes as the Major League Baseball Kansas City Royals. Kansas City Navy Week is the first in-person Navy Week since the COVID-19 pandemic and has not occurred in Kansas City since 2015.
