U.S. Army Europe and Africa's Best Squad Competition features Pfc. Robert Caldwell, Spc. Kristian Hughes, Staff Sgt. Coy Thomas, Spc. David Mendoza and Pfc. Joseph Brennan, with the 1st Battalion, 4th Infantry Regiment and Joint Multinational Readiness Center. Teams representing units from across USAREUR-AF will test their tactical proficiency, communication, and overall cohesion as they compete for the title of Best Squad, Aug. 20-28, 2025.
