Hospital Corpsman 3rd Class Josh Quinto is from Tracy, California. He has worked at Naval Health Clinic Lemoore since November 2021.
Quinto is a Navy Hospital Corpsman, however at the clinic he performs Master-at-Arms (MA) duties. He is responsible for all physical security at the clinic, such as setting up barricades, conducting bag checks or responding to intense patients. He also collects voluntary statements, conduct command urinalysis, barracks inspections, and stands as a bailiff during disciplinary inquiries.
“I take great pride in being selected to work in the security department alongside other MAs,” said Quinto. “Although my background is in being a corpsman, my determination and hard work allowed me not only to adapt to the responsibilities but excel in Security.”
The coolest thing Quinto has accomplished is raising over $22,000 in under six months for the 125th Hospital
Corpsman Birthday Ball. Quinto and the committee organized a total of 19 fundraising events, including car washes, pie-in-the-face and numerous food sales. They even washed a fire truck.
“After my time in the military, I would love to get my bachelor’s degree in nursing and continue caring for people,” said Quinto.
