Tech. Sgt. Mark Brindus, 61st Civil Engineering and Logistics Squadron NCOIC of Service Contracts, is recognized as the July 2026 Knight of the Month at Los Angeles Air Force Base, California July 8, 2026. Serving as the Contracting Officer’s Representative for the PRIDE and Goodwill contracts, his oversight of civil engineering, infrastructure, and base maintenance operations ensures contractors strictly adhere to technical standards, safety protocols, and contract requirements to provide the foundational support that keeps the base safe and fully operational. Brindus’ work is integral in the maintenance of base facilities, directly enabling the Space Base Delta 3 and its tenants to focus on the mission of securing the space domain without interruption.
