Exercise DEFENDER-Europe 20 is the deployment of a division-size combat-credible force from the United States to Europe, the drawing of equipment and the movement of personnel and equipment across the theater to various training areas that will take place throughout 2020. The infographic depicts the first "phase" of DEFENDER Europe 20- the deployment of a division-size force from the U.S. to Europe. Maps of the U.S. and Germany/Poland/Belgium/Netherlands are shown to display number of troops deploying per component and the various ways that they will arrive in country. It also shows key facts associated with the deployment. Various hues of blue and gold were used throughout the composition to align with the DEFENDER Europe 20 official logo. The design for this graphic began on Dec. 5, 2019 at Training Support Center- Wiesbaden, Clay Kaserne, Germany, with the layout being completed on Dec. 16, 2019. The infographic is part of an ongoing design and series that may be periodically adjusted to remain accurate.
