Each year, an Air Force Fiesta Medal is designed and distributed as a recruiting tool during Fiesta San Antonio. Fiesta San Antonio began in 1891 with a street parade to honor the memory of the heroes of the Alamo and the Battle of San Jacinto. Now, the celebration continues on a much larger scale celebrating San Antonio’s rich and diverse cultures and traditions.
