Tick Bite? We’ve Got You Covered.
The MILTICK Program is a free tick identification and testing service offered by your Environmental Health Section—helping protect the health of Soldiers, Families, and the Fort Campbell community.
If you remove a tick from your body, bring it to us. Our team will:
-Identify the tick species
-Educate you on potential diseases and symptoms
-Submit the tick for testing
Why it matters:
Ticks can carry diseases that impact your health and readiness. Early awareness = better protection.
Who is eligible?
Active Duty, Guard, Reserve, DoD civilians, contractors, retirees, and dependents.
Watch for symptoms:
Fever, chills, headache, body aches, rash, or flu-like symptoms after a bite.
