A bridge crewmember is responsible for constructing and maintaining military bridges and rafts to facilitate troop and equipment movement across various terrains. Demonstrating global deterrence and the U.S. Army’s ability to rapidly deploy U.S.- based combat power in Europe and the Arctic region alongside Allies and partners, DEFENDER 25 brings U.S. troops together with forces from 29 Allied and partner nations to build readiness through large-scale combat training from May 11-June 24, 2025. Saber Guardian 25 is an exercise co-led by the Romanian Joint Force Command and U.S. Army Europe, designed to enhance the integration of multinational combat forces and interoperability, enabling Allies and forces to operate together more effectively through shared procedures.
