250529-N-GB594-1001 NORFOLK (May 29, 2025) – Graphic displays Navy Divers swimming a Yellow Moray (REMUS 600) unmanned underwater vehicle (UUV) to the Virginia-class fast-attack submarine USS Delaware (SSN 791) during a UUV exercise and a Yellow Moray in the submarine’s torpedo tube. The successful evolution marked a significant technological milestone in autonomous system development as a Yellow Moray executed the first-ever, forward-deployed, submarine torpedo tube launch and recovery of a UUV to complete a tactical objective.
