Marine Corps Base Camp Lejeune "Make Ready" layout and design was created to
highlight the vital role the Camp Lejeune installation plays in supporting
the readiness of bases, warfighters, and families. "Make Ready" is a
preparatory command Marines typically hear on a range before engaging a
target with their weapon system and serves as an effective metaphor to
reinforce the outsized impact the disparate operations, activities, and
investments MCB Camp Lejeune contributes to increasing total readiness of
