16th Sustainment Brigade, Knight of the Week – Sgt. Christopher Woods serves as a CBRN specialist with the 493rd Petroleum Company, 18th Combat Sustainment Support Battalion. He consistently demonstrates the essence of servant leadership—setting the standard, leading from the front, and backing his words with decisive, selfless action. His patience, resilience, and unwavering integrity have made him a trusted leader who enforces standards with pride and extends care well beyond his immediate team.
Sgt. Woods has also proven himself an indispensable asset as cadre for multiple quarterly boards. Most recently, he organized, led, and evaluated two Chemical, Biological, Radiological, and Nuclear (CBRN) lanes in support of a division‑level Best Squad Competition, showcasing exceptional competence, initiative, and leadership under pressure.
Additionally, the 16th Sustainment Brigade extends its appreciation to Sgt. Woods—and all those whose support contributed to the brigade’s Best Squad Team earning second place in the 21st Theater Sustainment Command competition and securing a position in the upcoming USAREUR‑AF competition.
