The Joint Typhoon Warning Center (JTWC) released a new, publicly available tool to aid users through the launch of its tsunami decision support website. This example of the Tsunami Travel Time product simulates a 7.9 magnitude earthquake occurring off the coast of Chile. The image displays the time (in hours) a tsunami wave will take to reach a given location.
