Meet your Defender, U.S. Army Sgt. Juan Gutiérrez, assigned to 1st Battalion, 68th Armor Regiment, 3rd Armored Brigade Combat Team, 4th Infantry Division; from Mecca, California. Gutierrez joined the Army to challenge himself and to start a new chapter of his life. He has currently been serving in the Army for four years. He loves the environment of the Army, being able to meet new people and is always learning new things. During his free time, he enjoys playing soccer, volleyball and frisbee with his platoon.
