Each year, an Air Force Fiesta Medal is designed and distributed as a recruiting tool during Fiesta San Antonio. Fiesta San Antonio began in 1891 with a street parade to honor the memory of the heroes of the Alamo and the Battle of San Jacinto. Now, the celebration continues on a much larger scale celebrating San Antonio’s rich and diverse cultures and traditions. This medal is a submission to AETC for the Air Education and Training Commander viewing when choosing a new medal for the 2026 event. (U.S. Air Force graphic by Denise Lewis)
