The National Guard launched the “Uncommon Is Calling” marketing campaign in March 2025 to highlight the unique opportunities available through part-time service. The campaign developed using research on audience motivations and was distributed across digital streaming and social platforms. It was designed to resonate with prospective recruits by reframing Guard service as an uncommon calling rather than just a job.
