This logo mark was designed for the National Security Agency’s Cybersecurity Critical Networks Defense Organization. The core mission functions of the Cybersecurity Critical Networks Defense Organization are intelligence, warning of integrated cyber threats, security engineering, and providing mitigation/protection products for their customers and partners. The three main principals represented are:
• THE SHIELD; symbolizing stability, protection, no retreat/no surrender, and longevity; The shield is split into color representing passion, freedom, intelligence, sensibility, intuition, inspiration, vigor, life and courage, all things critical in the work in the defense of our Nation.
• THE WATCHTOWER WITH A KEYHOLE; represents a safe place, of observation or over watch, in a color representation neutral and balance.
• All of these aspects are encompassed in a NETWORK composed of three concentric circles.
