Spc. Samuel Yoo, representing Army Materiel Command, evacuates a casualty from a firefight as part of the common tasks test, Oct. 4, at Fort Lee, Va. Yoo and 11 other Soldiers are competing for the title of Department of the Army Best Warrior. The 12 Soldiers and an additional 12 non-commissioned officers will spend this week at Fort Lee competing in events such as the board, weapons, land navigation and warrior tasks. The winners will be announced at a ceremony, Oct. 8, in the District of Columbia. Yoo is currently assigned as a piano player in the 389th Army band "AMC's Own" located at Aberdeen Proving Group, Md. He hails from Toronto, Canada. Yoo has served in the Army for two years and is pursuing a Masters in business administration.
