Spc. Brian J. Hancock, representing U.S. Army Reserve Command, knocks out a few more situps before time runs out in the Army physical fitness test Oct. 3, at Fort Lee, Va. Hancock and 11 other Soldiers are competing for the title of Department of the Army Best Warrior. The 12 Soldiers and an additional 12 non-commissioned officers will spend this week at Fort Lee competing in events such as the board, weapons, land navigation and warrior tasks. The winners will be announced at a ceremony, Oct. 8, in the District of Columbia. Hancock, who hails from Davis, Calif., is currently assigned as a psychological operations specialist for the 304th Psychological Operations Company, located in Sacramento, Calif.
