Sgt. Steven Rovelstad, representing U.S. Army Medical Command, hurries to his next battle drill station to fire at targets in a battle drill as part of the weapons qualification test Oct. 4, at Fort Lee, Va. Rovelstad and 11 other Soldiers are competing for the title of Department of the Army Best Warrior. The 12 Soldiers and an additional 12 non-commissioned officers will spend this week at Fort Lee competing in events such as the board, land navigation and warrior tasks. The winners will be announced at a ceremony, Oct. 8, in the District of Columbia. Rovelstad is currently assigned as a dental technician in the U.S. Army Dental Clinic located at the Tripler Army Medical Center in Honolulu, Hawaii. He hails from Maui, Hawaii. Rovelstad has served in the Army for four years.
