Staff Sgt. Victor M. Trinidad, representing U.S. Army Korea, evacuates a casualty from a firefight as part of the common tasks test Oct. 4, at Fort Lee, Va. Trinidad and 11 other non-commissioned officers are competing for the title of Department of the Army Best Warrior. The 12 NCOs and an additional 12 Soldiers will spend this week at Fort Lee competing in events such as the board, weapons, land navigation and warrior tasks. The winners will be announced at a ceremony, Oct. 8, in the District of Columbia. Trinidad is an aircraft electrician, but is currently assigned as a vocalist in the Eighth U.S. Army Band located at Seoul, Korea. He hails from Toa Baja, Puerto Rico. Trinidad has served in the Army for more than four years. He is currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in professional science of aeronautics.
