Sgt. Martin A. Jensen, representing Space and Missile Defense Command, calls in a nine-line MEDEVAC as part of the common tasks test Oct. 4, at Fort Lee, Va. Jensen and 11 other Soldiers are competing for the title of Department of the Army Best Warrior. The 12 Soldiers and an additional 12 non-commissioned officers will spend this week at Fort Lee competing in events such as the board, weapons, land navigation and warrior tasks. The winners will be announced at a ceremony, Oct. 8, in the District of Columbia. Jensen is currently assigned as a satellite communications network coordinator in the 1st Space brigade located in Landsthul, Germany. Jensen, who hails from Rockford, Minn., has served in teh Army for more than two years and is pursuing an Associate's degree in satellite communications.
