170314-N-RN782-024 YOKOSUKA, Japan (March 14, 2017) Christopher Bush, a U.S. State Department senior medical instructor, from Scottsdale, Arizona, drags Aviation Electrician's Mate 2nd Class (AW/SW) Maria Pandolfo, from Orlando, Florida, during a tactical casualty care course on the aft mess decks of the Navy’s only forward-deployed aircraft carrier, USS Ronald Reagan (CVN 76). Bush was demonstrating the drag technique to teach Sailors how to move a casualty out of a direct-threat environment. Ronald Reagan, the flagship of Carrier Strike Group 5, provides a combat-ready force that protects and defends the collective maritime interests of its allies and partners in the Indo-Asia-Pacific region.
