Maj. Timothy Fretwell shows Japanese cadets and instructors how 3rd Marine Logistics Group maintains deployment readiness during a tour on Camp Kinser, Okinawa, Japan, Jan. 11, 2017. The tour highlighted accountability and distribution of all gear within 3rd MLG facilities. U.S. and Japanese militaries exchanged knowledge, efficiency, and best practices during the tour. Fretwell, from Canton, Mississippi, is a supply management unit officer in charge with 3rd Support Battalion, Combat Logistics Regiment 35, 3rd MLG, III Marine Expeditionary Force.
