U.S. Air National Guard instructors review training materials and prepare equipment during Patriot Forge II at Ft. Devens Army Reserve Training Area, Massachusetts, Aug. 11, 2026. Patriot Forge II was designed to develop a multi-unit engineer force capable of performing core expeditionary engineering and combat support tasks. The exercise served as training to support and enable Agile Combat Employment (ACE) and the skills needed to generate distributed airpower in a near-peer contested environment.
