U.S. Air National Guard Civil Engineers receive instruction from Lt. Col. Bret Bailey, 157th civil engineering squadron commander, before beginning a training evolution during Patriot Forge II at Ft. Devens Army Reserve Training Area, Massachusetts, Aug. 11, 2026. During the exercise, ANG civil engineers practiced tangible, cross-functional combat skills with a focus on tactical medicine, convoy operations, and infantry tasks to make them more lethal and survivable.
