A U.S. Air National Guard instructor assists a Civil Engineer with training equipment during Patriot Forge II at Ft. Devens Army Reserve Training Area, Massachusetts, Aug. 13, 2026. Instructors created courses to prepare Air National Guard Civil Engineers to engage in uncomfortable and expeditionary circumstances. 200 personnel from four squadrons trained to enhance the warfighter ethos and readiness for a peer/near-peer fight, regional interoperability, and development of multi-capable Airmen.
