U.S. Air National Guard Civil Engineers monitor a roadway checkpoint during a security training scenario at Patriot Forge II at Ft. Devens Army Reserve Training Area, Massachusetts, Aug. 12, 2026. Patriot Forge II was designed to develop a multi-unit engineer force capable of performing core expeditionary engineering and combat support tasks. 200 personnel from four squadrons trained to enhance the warfighter ethos and readiness for a peer/near-peer fight, regional interoperability, and development of multi-capable Airmen.
