U.S. Air National Guard Civil Engineers work together to control and search a simulated suspect during Patriot Forge II at Ft. Devens Army Reserve Training Area, Massachusetts, Aug. 12, 2026. During the exercise, ANG civil engineers practiced tangible, cross-functional combat skills with a focus on tactical medicine, convoy operations, and infantry tasks to make them more lethal and survivable. 200 personnel from four squadrons trained to enhance the warfighter ethos and readiness for a peer/near-peer fight, regional interoperability, and development of multi-capable Airmen.
